Enforced disappearance continues for “Kamal Fayad” and “Mohammed Zaki” in Sharkia

The Egyptian security forces are still violating citizens’ rights, the Egyptian security forces arrested “Kamal Nabeel Mohammed Abdallah Fayad”, freelancer engineer, 52 years old, from his house in 10th of Ramadan city, Sharkia Governorate at dawn, Monday June 10th and took him to an unknown destination. He is now forcibly disappearing for twelve days.

They also arrested “Mohammed Zaki Abdelhamed Mohammed”, Orthopedic, 53 years old, from 10th of Ramadan city, Sharkia Governorate in June 3rd and took him to an unknown destination. He is now forcibly disappearing for nineteen days.

They both suffer from severe chronic diseases, “Kamal” has blood hypertension, Diabetes and Hepatitis C, Mohammed suffers from paraplegic for six years, along with blood hypertension and Diabetes.

Hence, the organization expresses its great concern of their safety, they should have suitable medical care and enforced disappearance threatenes their lives.

The organization condemns the enforced disappearance of both “kamal” and “Mohammed” as it violates the international laws and instruments ratified by Egypt, most notably: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights of 1966.
The organization, also, calls on the Egyptian authorities to immediately clear their whereabouts.
